Why become a member?

The membership offers several advantages:

  • Lower participation fees for different FinnProt activties (e.g. annual symposium)
  • Grants available for training in proteomics (e.g. European Summer School)
  • Get in contact with others working on proteomics

How to become a member?

The membership in FinnProt, the Proteomics Division of the BioBio Society (Societas Biochemica, Biophysica et Microbiologica Fenniae), is free of charge but requires membership in the BioBio Society (Annual membership fee is 28 euros. For undergraduate students the annual membership fee is 10 euros). More instructions about the BioBio Society membership, which offers additional benefits such as grants, can be found here. If you are already a BioBio Society member you can join the Proteomics Division by e-mailing to BioBio Society’s secretary Ruusu-Maaria Merivirta.
